The Monstera deliciosa is an Epiphyte plant; it draws moisture and nutrients from the atmosphere while using aerial roots to climb other plants and structures. Under the right conditions, the leaves grow naturally with holes that represent Swiss cheese. This angiosperm has an off-white colored flower with a spadix in the center. Although the plant is native to South America, it's now a common indoor plant.
