The Jeep Wrangler (YJ) replaced the long-lived CJ Series. It had a wider track, angled grille, rectangular headlamps, and a modernized interior. Although the Wrangler shared the familiar open-body profile of the CJ-7, it contained few common parts with its famous predecessor.
