The future is true. It's going to happen, even if it doesn't. Cryosleep is a spin-off sub from /r/nosleep. Here you can post your original sci-fi and post apocalypse stories. It's like /r/nosleep but the constraints of the "believability" rule do not apply here.
Welcome to the Library of Shadows. From ghosts to the apocalypse, from zombie-rom-coms to grotesque police files, from monsters to mobsters, we prefer horror but we'll gladly run anything that makes you bite nails and keep turning the page. We display material from authors both new and experienced to help them build their readership and promote their projects and portfolios.
SLEEPSPELL is a subreddit dedicated to original pieces of fantasy-related fiction. All fantasy subgenres are welcome! We pride ourselves on being a spin-off of the popular /r/NoSleep and /r/cryosleep subreddits, but suspension of disbelief is not necessary here. Instead, we ask that you simply be supportive of any and all submissions and upvote those that you thoroughly enjoy to help others find them!
So, who likes building teams? Who likes being picked last? Who cares. The idea is simple: The beginning of each month we hold a draft with randomly selected captains. Each team of writers has the rest of the month to develop a story, each member creating two or three paragraphs.
NoSleepInterviews is a passion project for all involved, designed to help us learn more about our peers in the /r/NoSleep, /r/NoSleepAudio, and /r/NoSleepOOC communities. Our goal is solely to generate and foster interaction and rapport between authors, readers, narrators, and moderators. Working in conjunction with NoSleepOOC, we poll for what NoSleep authors and narrators should be interviewed and what should be asked of them, then post the finalized interviews here!
Writing Prompts. You're a writer and you just want to flex those muscles? You've come to the right place! If you see a prompt you like, simply write a short story based on it. Get comments from others, and leave commentary for other people's works. Let's help each other.
This is The Signal, a place for readers to find well written short horror fiction, and for writers of said fiction to have their work seen. The Signal is also a place for aspiring authors to submit their work for the upcoming podcast of the same name. We allow all subjects and styles of horror here, including sci-fi, comedy, fantasy, and everything else. As long as they are well written and exist within the horror genre, feel free to post them here!
A subreddit dedicated to the unresolved mysteries of the world. Submissions should outline a mystery and provide a link to a more detailed review of the case such as a Wiki article or news report. Replies analysing and speculating over the mystery and possible explanations are encouraged.
