Homeworld (1999) is a real-time strategy computer game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by Sierra Entertainment. It was the first fully three-dimensional RTS game. Homeworld was the beginning of a series, followed by Homeworld: Cataclysm (2000) and Homeworld 2 (2003). In 2014 Homeworld HD and Homeworld 2 HD remakes were announced by the new IP holder, Gearbox Software. January 20th 2016 Blackbird Interactive released the latest Homeworld game: Deserts of Kharak.
